Pastor Yemi Awodiran is a dedicated and committed servant of God, currently serving as the Resident Pastor of Winners Chapel International in Edmonton, Alberta. A graduate of Banking and Finance from The Polytechnic Ibadan, Pastor Yemi’s journey in ministry began after he received a divine calling, which he described through his inspiration from Ephesians 3:8—”Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.”
He was ordained as a pastor in October 2009 by Bishop David Oyedepo, the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide. This ordination took place in New York, USA, marking a significant milestone in his ministry. Since then, Pastor Yemi has been steadfast in fulfilling the vision of the Liberation Mandate, a core mission of his spiritual father, Bishop Oyedepo. The mandate focuses on spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and transforming lives through the power of the Word.
With a heart for people and a passion for preaching, Pastor Yemi has made it his life’s work to serve in the ministry, ensuring that the message of Christ reaches as many people as possible. He is deeply committed to the vision of Winners Chapel International, working tirelessly to build a thriving church community in Edmonton and beyond.
Pastor Yemi is joyfully married to Sharon, and together they have been blessed with two children—Miguel and Faith. As a family, they are a strong testimony to the grace of God and a beacon of His love to others. Pastor Yemi’s leadership is not just about preaching the Word but also about being an example of faith, commitment, and dedication to the work of the Kingdom of God.
